Hike Description

From the road fv. 494 you take off at the sign for Ramsgjel. The car park is by Ramsgjelvatnet lake. The trip is marked from Liltlevatnet. After Klashaugen, the path is partially marked, and follows the Ramsgjelryggen. Before the summit, the path reverses and makes a turn to the east. Here it is important to follow the marked path. The trip has a couple of demanding sections towards the top, but is doable for the vast majority of people.

The top of Ramsgjeltind is on the fine mountain range 1234 m above sea level. At the top you get a panoramic view of the mountain home. Climbing the summit on a late summer evening is an experience you won’t forget.
