Hike Description

Follow the E6 400 m south from Kobbelv vertshus and turn left up towards the housing estate. Halfway up the hill, approx. 300 m from the E6, turn left and follow the tractor road to the lake. At Sørfjordvatnet you can fish and/or paddle. You can rent a canoe at Kobbelv Vertshus. There you can also buy a fishing license if you want to try your luck at fishing.

To walk Sørfjorddalen on the return trip, you must walk 100 m back from the lake, cross the suspension bridge and take the path to the left. Then follow the sign and marked path through the forest and across the fields to Dalstua, past two 100-year-old, disused small farms and down to the settlement and Kobbelv inn.

This hike is one of Saltens Friluftsråd’s selected 55 captivating hikes in the region.
