The hike up to Mørsvikvasstinden is an easy hike with a great reward! Here you are amply rewarded with a lovely view down towards Mørsvikvatnet and the Mørsvikfjord.
Hike Description
This is an relatively easy hike that starts from E6 on Kråkmofjellet. Follow the marked and signposted path. The summit is visible all the way and there is only a 300 m height difference from the starting point on the E6 to the top of Mørsvikvasstinden, 640 m above sea level.
Easiest to follow a path, but you can choose your own paths to the destination. At the start, it may be good to walk a little north of Lomtjønna to avoid bogs and thickets.
From the top you get a lovely view down towards Mørsvikvatnet and the Mørsvikfjord to the south. To the north lie Grønnvatnet and Tennvatnet with the majestic Kråkmotinden as a backdrop. The trip is equally beautiful in both summer and winter. In winter, it is nice to take the trip over the two mentioned lakes before ascending to Mørsvikvasstinden.

Getting to Mørsvikvasstinden
The easiest way to get to Mørsvikvasstinden is with your own car or bus along the E6. Bus direct from Bodø/Fauske towards Sortland, to Kråkmofjell south. Two daily departures, morning and afternoon. 3 hour journey.
If you want to spend the night, there is a campsite in Mørsvikbotn, or you can pitch your tent at your dream spot by one of the small lakes in the area.
If you are coming from the south on the E6, park your car shortly after you have passed Lomtjønna and completed the ascent to Kråkmofjellet. If you come from the north, the car park is on the left at the end of the long straight stretch after Tennvatnet. Follow the marked and signposted path. The summit is visible all the way and there is only a 300 m height difference from the starting point on the E6 to the top of Mørsvikvasstinden, 640 m above sea level.
