Fauske is a small town an hour drive from downtown Bodø. The city streches from Valnesfjord in the west to the mining town of Sulitjelma in the east. At Fauske there are many activities you can do, whether you want to go on a mountain hike, experience the Northern Lights or go dog sledding, the opportunity is here. You can easily go skiing, fishing, hiking or cycling. The gateway to the "children's national park", Sjunkhatten, is situated here.

The nearest airport is in Bodø. Bodø is a one hour drive from downtown Fauske. By train or by bus it takes around one hour. To get to Sulitjelma you have to take a bus or car (1/2 hour from downtown Fauske).
If you drive by yourself, there are several ways to get to Fauske. We recommend looking at directions at maps.google.com. If you drive from Bodø, follow the Rv80 road.
