EUROPEAN CABINS OF CULTURE - Bodø2024

About

European Cabins of Culture brings art into nature, to the tourist cabins. Norway has 550 of
them, number 500 is the fantastic Rabothytta in Hemnes, Nordland. These cabins are an
important part of our proud touring tradition. All are open to the public, built and run by the
Norwegian Tourist Association

In 2024, they will not just be the destination for a day trip, or a weekend in the mountains; for a
period they will be small cultural centres, with exhibitions, concerts, performances, lectures
and other cultural activities that can take place in or near a cabin.
In August 2024, a continuous tour will be organized throughout the county, along the
Nordlandsruta, with a broad artistic program with both regional and international artists on
the program
