With ÁRRAN 360° we are entering a new digital realm where Indigenous storytelling is at the forefront of exploring XR technologies. ÁRRAN
360° is a hybrid between indigenous stories and innovative film technology.

Árran means fireplace. A gathering point. A place where stories are told. ÁRRAN 360° started as an official part of the extended program of «The Sami Pavilion» at the 59th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale de Venezia.
This first film project of its kind contains original 360-degree films made by leading Sami
filmmakers from all over Sápmi. The films are presented in a specially built giant lávvu with
a screen designed to showcase these special films
