Arctic Art Island is a collaboration between musician and composer Håvard Lund and
Bodø2024. Lund is also the initiator and founder of the Arctic Hideaway at Fleinvær.

The Arctic Hideaway is the starting point for five European artist residencies during the
year, one for each season through Bodø2024’s programme, all of which become a new
exhibition. Arctic Art Island will investigate nature and
sustainability through art. The artists will get close to the elements, and at the same time
investigate whether art can reach out to the world from a small island in Nordland.
