Leave the city behind and head towards areas where sea eagles are often found. Along the way, we keep our eyes on the sky, the mountainsides and the small islands around us. Perhaps we will spot one soaring high above us, perched along the coast, or gliding over the sea on its impressive wings.
As we search for sea eagles, the journey takes us between islands, bays and hidden gems throughout the archipelago. The Arctic winter sets the scene, with crisp sea air, low winter light and a rugged coastal landscape. From the RIB, you get close to nature and experience the speed, the sea and the excitement of spotting one of the coast’s most majestic birds.
No two trips are exactly the same. Sea eagles move freely through the landscape, and it is the anticipation, and the moment one finally appears, that makes the safari in to a lasting memory. Look up. Perhaps one is soaring right above you.
Before departure, you will be provided with a flotation suit, life jacket and goggles at Rampen Adventure Hub. The flotation suit is worn over the clothes you arrive in and is windproof. You will also receive a safety briefing before departure. Flotation suits and life jackets are mandatory for all guests.
This is a winter experience, and it can get very cold out at sea. We therefore recommend dressing warmly for the weather, preferably with wool and warm layers underneath the flotation suit. Winter jackets will also fit underneath and are recommended. Please wear warm footwear that can handle exposure to water.
During heavy rain or snowfall, you should expect to get wet, so please dress accordingly.
