Svømmehallen Scene opened its doors for the first time in the fall of 2021 as a subsidiary of the Parkenfestivalen Foundation. Originally constructed as an indoor swimming pool in the late 1960s, the facility closed in 2003 and remained vacant until renovations began in 2017.

Today, the former swimming pool has been transformed into a concert venue and has become a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

The venue hosts a wide range of events, including concerts, theater productions, and other cultural activities throughout the year. With a capacity of up to 1,250 attendees, it is the largest cultural venue in the region and a vital hub for arts and culture in Northern Norway.
