Nordland Nationalpark Center

About

Nordland National Park Centre is a natural stop just north of the Arctic Circle.
In beautiful architecture and scenic surroundings, you’ll find the Adde Zetterquist Art Gallery and the Nordland National Park Visitor Centre — together forming a unique experience centre that combines art and nature.

Gain insight into the life and work of Per Adde and Kajsa Zetterquist, or get great tips and ideas for your next mountain hike. Here, both children and adults can explore varied exhibitions, take part in educational activities and exciting events. We also have a shop with local products and a cozy café area.

The entire centre is wheelchair accessible — as is much of the trail network just outside our doors, leading guests on both short and long adventures. How about a walk through the small climbing jungle or a hike up the mighty Solvågtind in Junkerdal National Park?

Planning a meeting or gathering? The centre offers modern meeting rooms and a well-equipped auditorium. For those seeking an authentic overnight experience, the historic Nystadnesstua cabin is available for rent.

Whether you’re interested in art, passionate about nature, or looking for an educational stop on your journey, Nordland National Park Centre offers memorable experiences. Welcome!

Nordland National Park Centre is easily accessible right off the E6 at Storjord in Saltdal, approximately 28 km north of the Arctic Circle, 116 km from Bodø, 113 km from Mo i Rana, and 161 km from Arjeplog.
