Bodø is a great place to see the northern lights. Explore Salten’s knowledgable guides will take you on a busride out of the city and away from the light pollution and into the open wilderness. Here- between rough mountains, the sea and wildlife there is a great way to experience the dancing northern lights and a starry sky if the weather is clear.

We park the bus and get outside in the fresh air. A chance to experience the real winter cold. The guide will take you to the spots where there is highest chance to see the lights, based on the forecast. This varies based on clouds, wind and geomagnetic activity.

Standing underneath the northern lights when it is dancing in the sky is a magical experience.

What makes this activity unique?
