This natural phenomenon can be witnessed up close four times a day during the tidal flow in and out of Saltfjorden. Continue your journey from Saltstraumen and embark on an adventure of discovery! Perhaps the white tailed eagle will soar above you. With a little luck, it may even come closer.
Before departure, you will be provided with a dry suit, life jacket, and goggles at Rampen Adventure Hub. The dry suit should be worn over the clothes you wore before the experience and is windproof. A safety briefing will be given before departure. Wearing the dry suit and life jacket is mandatory for all our guests.
We ask that you dress according to the weather and wear footwear that can get wet. In the event of heavy rain showers, you can expect to get wet, so please plan accordingly.
