Out in the ocean west of Bodø, you can find Fleinvær. In the Island group of Fleinvær initiator Håvard Lund has built a pearl of a plant of nine small houses facilitated for concentrated work, peace and quiet; Fleinvær has no cars, no shops but high skies and a broad horizon.

Arctic Hideaway was conceived as a tiny-hotel in harmony with its natural setting, on this little island you will experience time and space like nowhere else. Nine unique houses offer accommodation for up to 10 guests, you can also rent it privately. For entertainment, you can spot otters and eagles from the comfort of the studio house, catch sunrise in the njalla or just enjoy the outdoor life – caretakers are on hand to ease you into island life.

If you are looking for creative inspiration, peace of mind, being at one with nature, fresh air, time to just enjoy being, recharge your batteries, then this is the place for you and maybe your close friends or family. Meeting facilities available as well.
Exclusive tranquility: Mindfulness is in time, but this is the place for MINDLESSNESS, ie total decoupling.

Transport: Public ferry from Bodø has daily departures, private charter boat is also possible.
