The Beiarfjorden & Saltstraumen cruise is a 4 hour journey showcasing the best of what nature has to offer on either end of the spectrum. We sail past the rugged landscape of Sandhorn Island into the narrow entrance of Beiarfjorden. Here you can observe rare geologic events that have taken place over millennia as well as peaceful surroundings with stunning views. Our in-person live guides will share knowledge during this journey.
On the way back we will pass by Saltstraument, the worlds’ strongest tidal current. Here you can experience the forces of the water if the current is switching tides. This area is known for its rich marine life and we have chances to see some white-tailed eagles along the way.
Our hybrid electric boat has several outdoor decks from which to observe the surroundings and a nice warm indoor saloon with large panoramic windows as well as a cafe where you can grab a hot drink and local treats.
