About

Saltenguidene offer guided dog sledding tours in Evnesdalen, located in the municipality of Saltdal, approximately a two-hour drive from the center of Bodø. You can find us on a former mountain farm from the early 1900s, situated near Junkerdal National Park, amidst powerful mountains and hidden valleys.

At the kennel, we have both Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Huskies, which are the two most commonly used sled dogs today. Their joy and enthusiasm for pulling are something that must be experienced.

We offer short tours for those who just want a taste of dog sledding and longer trips into the mountain wilderness for those who want to experience the wild landscapes of northern Norway.
