The Port of Bodø offers safe and efficient operations for a wide range of cruise vessels, with established procedures, reliable services and a high focus on guest satisfaction

Bodø Cruise Port is located adjacent to the city centre, giving passengers easy access to shops, restaurants, museums and attractions within walking distance. The airport is only a few minutes away, making Bodø well suited for both transit calls and turnaround operations.

  • Breakwater clearance: 190 m (width), 135 m (depth >10 m)
  • Maximum vessel length entering breakwater: 300 m
  • Turning basin: 450 m diameter / 12.5 m depth
  • Speed limit: 5 knots in inner harbour
  • Pilotage is mandatory
  • All vessels must report arrival via SafeSeaNet Norway
  • Pilot booking and clearance procedures handled through SafeSeaNet
  • Four mooring personnel are required for cruise vessels
  • ISPS security and personnel provided during port calls
  • Fresh water supply (high quality)
  • Waste, grey water and sewage handling
  • Bunkering (traditional fuels and LNG, hydrogen under development)
  • Shore power (low voltage available)
  • Gangway and port equipment available on request
  • Laboratory services: On site testing and analysis of drinking water, pool facilities, indoor climate and more.
  • Tug services available. Two tugboats located in Bodø
  • Additional services available upon request

The port is located close to the airport, with specific drone restrictions.
