About Norwegian Aviation Museum
Located in Bodø – Norway’s aviation capital – the Norwegian Aviation Museum is the largest of its kind in the Nordic region. The museum covers 10,000 square meters and showcases both civil and military aviation history through engaging exhibitions and original aircrafts.
Founded through local dedication and national collaboration, the museum brings together three institutions: the Norwegian Aviation Museum, the Air Force Museum, and the AVINOR Museum – making it a truly comprehensive destination for aviation and history enthusiasts. In addition to the exhibitions, the museum includes archives, a library, object collections, and an aircraft restoration workshop.
