From Jakobsbakken you follow a marked trail into Junkerdal National Park and past Anna Gruve. The hike is hilly and offers great views of the Sulitjelma massif, North Saulo and Junkerdal National Park. You also pass many old mining sites, the mine entrance to Anna Gruve and the remains of train rails from Anna mine to Jakobsbakken. After about 5 km we arrive at the Berit «gamme» which is just before you reach the bridge over the Berit river. The «gamme» is built by the Mavas Sami (c. 1920).
