Welcome to Rognan Hotel!
Our charming fjord hotel is located right on the pier in central Rognan, with beautiful panoramic views of the Saltenfjorden and surrounding mountains. The hotel has a maritime theme and all the rooms are named after the wooden boats that were built in Saltdal earlier. In our restaurant you can eat a delicious meal while enjoying the beautiful fjord view. In the summer you can also enjoy food and drinks on the pier. In the winter the Northern Lights are often seen in the evening. In 1979 a major fire left many of the traditional buildings in Rognan in ruins. Old styles of architecture were used during the reconstruction, which created a nice and charming atmosphere in the center of town.

Rooms
We have 60 spacious rooms including 3 nice suites. All rooms have private facilities, telephone and TV. 3 of our rooms are for disabled persons and 3 rooms for allergy sufferers. It is allowed to have pets in 2 of the rooms for an extra charge of NOK: 150. Free wireless internet in every room

Extra beds:
Extra bed NOK: 200, - per night. Children under 4 years using existing bedding are free of charge. No charge for baby cribs. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Extra beds or cots are on request only, and need to be confirmed by the hotel in advance.

Attractive suites!
The hotel's three suites were refurbished in February of 2011. The “Trygve Hoff” suite and “Johan Drage” suite are duplex suites (over two floors), with living room and bedroom on separate levels. Both levels have bathroom and TV and a nice balcony where you can enjoy the summer sun and watch the beautiful view of the fjord and marina.
