If you arrive by coach from Bodø, the Engenbreen Shuttle Service boat provides transport across the Holandsfjord. The crossing takes 10 minutes, and the boat departs from the Holandsvika pier near the main highway.

After crossing the fjord, it’s a short walk or bus ride to Brestua café. Brestua is situated atop a moraine near the lake, into which the melting water from the glacier flows. From the café you can enjoy magnificent views of the glacier combined with a delicious lunch.

The bus will then take you back to the passenger boat for the return trip to the ship.

This activity is family friendly.
